Do you know those days when you suddenly have wild ideas in your head but then you keep them in a box and never do anything with them? Of course, this may not happen to you, but in that case, please read on.

Sometimes a great adventure starts with a small moment of inspiration and for us that moment came in the summer of 2023 or much earlier in our hearts.

We had a short holiday and that is when our creativity is at its peak. There is a reason why the saying time brings counsel exists and it is absolutely true. The idea then arose to develop a label that would bring warmth, style and comfort to the cosiest moments: pyjamas for the whole family.

The Beginning: A Personal Story

As a young parent of two small children, one of our founders Britt discovered something striking: it was difficult to find beautiful, high-quality and comfortable pyjamas that would fit everyone in the family. While there were plenty of options for both adults and children separately, there was often a lack of cohesive collections that truly reflected the cosiness of shared moments together.

For children, the choice was often playful and busy, but not always sustainable. For adults, there is an individual stylish range, but when we start looking for matching items, we often find an exact copy of the children's pyjamas and we really wanted to avoid that. After all, we want every family member to feel comfortable and let's be honest, no one feels confident as a parent when you wear exactly the same playful pyjamas as your children. And so the idea grew: why not start a label that changes this? Why not start a brand that designs pyjamas that the whole family feels comfortable in, and that also with an eye for detail, quality and sustainability?

The step to start this was of course big but that makes it even more fun to be able to take this leap together as two friends. Just the idea of ​​this filled our bodies with warmth and at that moment you know for sure that you have to do something with this.

From Idea to Mission

Atelier Bonheur was created from the desire to create a connection between the people we love most. Attachment is a basic need for everyone and that is why we want to focus so much on it. Extra attention is paid to the daily moment when everyone retreats into comfortable clothing, whether that is for a bedtime story, a movie night or a lazy Sunday morning.

Our mission is simple: to create pyjamas that are not only comfortable, but also exude a sense of connection and happiness. We wanted to create a brand that brings families together and celebrates the little moments that make life special.

We especially want everyone to reflect on these beautiful moments and realize that gratitude and happiness are in the little things. We forget this all too often because of the speed at which we sometimes rush through life.
